Warmer Kiwi Homes grants offer 80% off the cost of Insulation for eligible homes!
The Warmer Kiwi Homes grant from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a government programme that covers 80% of the cost of insulating the ceiling and underfloor of your home. This keeps it warmer, drier and healthier for your family.
A grant is also available for installing a ground vapour barrier if you are taking up an insulation grant.

To be eligible for the 80 – 100% Warmer Kiwi Homes Grants you must meed the following criteria:
have a Community Services Card or SuperGold Card with CSC endorsement, OR live in a New Zealand Deprivation Index 8, 9 or 10 area, OR
are families referred through the Ministry of Health’s Healthy Homes Initiative.
More than 500,000 New Zealand homes are estimated to have inadequate or no insulation. As a consequence, they are often cold, damp and expensive to heat and leads to an unhealthy environment for the occupants.
